Nondiscrimination Policies

The Long Beach Unified School District's programs, activities, and practices shall be free from discrimination based on race, color, ancestry, national origin, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital or parental status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identify or expression, or genetic information; the perception of one or more of such characteristics; or association with a person or group with one or more of these perceived characteristics.

The Long Beach Unified School District prohibits, at any district school or school activity, unlawful discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying of any student or employee based on the above.

菠菜网lol正规平台 has the primary responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and shall investigate complaints alleging failure to comply with those laws and regulations alleging discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and/or bullying and unauthorized charging of pupil fees for educational activities.  菠菜网lol正规平台 seeks to resolve complaints early and through informal resolution whenever possible and appropriate. To resolve complaints which cannot be resolved through early, informal process, the District shall seek to resolve those complaints through the Uniform Complaint Procedures.
